    Short Shifters?

I have been looking into buying a short shifter. One of the things I'm concidering is that I seem to have to extend quite a bit to hit 3rd and 5th. (I'm a tall guy) The passetter short shifter looks to have a drastic angle in the stick that could move the shifting closer to me. Has anyone had any experiance with the pacesetter short shifter? any other shifters out there there that people have used and been pleased with the results? Pics??

I'm 6'1" and i have the Kartboy Shifter, probably the shortest of them all B&M, Pacesetter and Kartboy. The nice thing about the Pace is that it's adjustable, no knowledge of the quality.

The Kartboy looks like good quality, fit perfect, even in our 1st gens. With the lower 92 MX3 seats, it's a damn near perfect comfort fit.

how much shorter is the kartboy vs the stocker? I like the look of the TWM shifter. And I've loved B&M's ratchet shifters for years in my hotrods.

I think he meant in hieght, not the throw

this should help, i'd say about 3" shorter hieght wise and about a 4-4.5" throw. (with the Kartboy)

MAN!! That is one short ass shifter! I think I'll have to wait till I get lower seats first. Looks like It would be quite a streatch with the stock seats.

BTW, I really like your ride MazdaRacer. Looks like you've got quite a bit of work in to it.

i agree on the kartboy. got mine a while back, and absolutely love it. it is so much better than the stocker. and i havent had any problems reaching it with the stock seats either. highly recommended purchase
