the differences are probably valve cover mostly... but i think the MAF might be different.. not sure there.... the hardest part is going to be the wire harness... if you cant' get a mazda harness you are dead in the water...

My next question though is that the engine is 96 kia. Will the 96 kia fit a 97-98 mazda F series tranny

Let me elaborate on TheMAN's remark...

If you have a Gseries gearbox, you wouldn't need a DOHC from a KIA because you would already have one.

Thus, you most undoubtedly have a Fseries gearbox.

.. and as to the tranny issue people need to make up their ****ing minds cause every day i hear a difference story about which ****ing tranny i have...

theman: maybe if you would tell people to read it when you "answer" their Q, they might not treat you like some asshole-ish 12 year old dumbass.....

                            You could of said
                            "You need/dont need this"

and if you still want to sound like an asshole

"You need/dont need this, but if you read the FAQ tahts in my Q, I wouldnt be here typing this out... kids these days..."

but then that wouldn't be TheMan's style

he's in a constant quest to piss off as many n00bs as he can by making them look stupid

                              good work Edwin
