    Queston about offset (+40)

Will a + 45 offset work with our cars?
I want the rims to stick out a bit more ,maybe a +38 would work. I don't want them to be all the way in the well.
I like when they stick out a bit.

    Re: Question about offset (+40)

The greater the + offset, the more the centerline of the wheel will be shifted to the inside of the car. Thus, a +40 mm offset wheel will stick out more to the outside of the car than will a +45 mm wheel. In other words, the +40 mm wheel will give the car a wider stance. It will also be more likely to rub on the fender lip.

      Hey Bruce ol' buddy!!!

seeing as how you have a sedan.....a +45 will work just find and dandy...and you won't have any rubbing problems either.

thanks for the replies guys, I am considering the konig heliums in silver.
The 15" rims weighs in at 11.4 to 12 lbs. Only thing about them the design is a love em or hate em design .. but oh well..

        ------------------------------

I am glad to know I could run that offset sir nuke, Thanks for replying. I was wondering if the wheel would be to far in and maybe cause the tire to rub abainst the strut.
I would like to get my hands on a 15x7 +38mm offset wheel.. assuming I could afford it ...lol

        Thanks
        Bruce

anyway there are always wheel spacers to help line up the rim with the fender.
