    Fabricating RX8 lights.....

I love the look of the new mazda headlights coming out. Especially the way they look on the new rx8. I want to figure out some way to fabricate the lights onto my 1st gen. Anyone have any ideas? I suppose id need to locate a wrecked one rather than buying the lights from the dealer, they'd cost a fortune. Anyone happen to know the dimensions of them by chance?? Thanks and if this project ever happens ill keep u all updated.

i really hope you are good with fiberglass and bondo i thought about finding a new car with factory HIDs to do the same thing, but figured it'd be too much of a pain in the ass for what it's worth

Yeah, that would be lots of work but if you can do it then cool! Ever think about the BMW E36 light conversion?

rx8 lights on a first gen

              round peg..... square hole.

good luck with that. and it will involve welding.
When you turn your car on... does it return the favor?

Do you actually want the headlight assembly from the RX8 or are you just meaning you want projector lights?
