Eradication of Minnesota's Front License Plate

Anyone supporting this around here, I do hate the front license plate. To me, it just spoils the aesthetics.

    what do you guys think?

Front plates are useless. My dad got a ticket for not haveing one, it was $70 or so. Fundraising for the DMV :suckie:

Here you can get it fixed by going to the DMV. They write it off. I've had that happen to me once or twice.

i went the other day to the St. Paul courthouse to get it written off. But the bitchy hearing officer was not preprared to listen to me, and hence I had to pay the bloody fine.

$103 bux less towards any fun I could have had.

          Signed it.

I have mine stuck up on my dash, I hope that's legal.

            it's not.

the purpose of a front tag is to reflect radar/laser. modern cars have so much plastic up front that they don't reflect radar very well, ergo many states require a front plate.

its good that you haven't gotten fined for that yet, coz I already did.

the plate in the dash is really a safety thing, if you were ever in an accident it could slice your face open (or worse).

yeah, thats why I only put the license plate in the window while the car is parked. otherwise its somewhere in the trunk. But now, its mounted in front... don't want to get fined anymore.

This is where I put mine. I think it looks good, and I haven't got any crap for it from the cops.
