here some pic of the rusty part that i get from a first gen GT

for the brake swap i know what to do but in the picture with the 2 red arrow i was wondering if somebody know what are those part (it look different that the one on my car)

    is that a sway bar??

i am posting that because i was wondering if the suspension arm can be swap too

the stock one have no bolt to ajust them and no sway bar (i think is a sway bar)

The rear arrow point to adjust for toe and the bracket for the rear swaybar . I dont know for sure but you maybe able to sway the whole assembly in the car . if not measure the links and see if they are the same .

I believe that bruce put an entire first gen rear subframe in his 95.

i'm not sure about putting the entire subframe because of the rust but the rear sway bar is maybe a good idea (see wath i can do)

i have already a rear strut bar, will the sway bar will work good with it???

i'm planning to part out the rear subframe and sandblast it and see wath part i can use for my little projet

i will keep posting pics of my parts when i clean them

2 gen sway bar links to the rear struts , 1 gen to the control arm . To use the 1 gen sway bar you have to use the control arms as well.

not sure ,I would guess the one the sway bar attaches to would be enough. Can I ask why you used 1 gen gear when the 2 gen LX here in Canada has the 4 wheel disc and rear sway bar , Shouldn't be too hard to find one scraped in Quebec.

i got this for a very good price and all the j.y. i go neer my place dont have any lx model.
i was wondering if the 2nd gen lx as different suspension arms vs se model
can you tell me kansei if your rear suspension arm is like the one on the picture (arms are square not round) or like the se model (only rond piece and the arms attatch to the subframe almost in the middle)

                thanks

as far is I know the arms are the same on 2 gen ,the differance is the struts have a tab on them to mount the sway bar end link. The holes for the sway bar bushing brackets are in the frame of the se and dx

You might be able to find them online at a Mazda dealer in the U.S. and have them shipped.

That sway bar you have on there is the same as on the 91-96 escort gt. It is a 21mm solid sway bar. I have one of those bars on my 94 escort lx. They are a pretty stout bar. I would recommend getting new bushings and links for the bar when you install it. If you can I would just try and swap the whole rear subframe in. I have installed a couple of rear setups now on zx2's, and the easiest way was swapping the the whole subframe. The first one I just swapped the spindles and tie bars and it was a major pain to get the bolt out of the back of the spindle. I had to cut the bold in the center behind the spindle with a cut off wheel and use a air hammer with a chisel in the cut spot to push the bolts out.
Before I cut it I tried using PBblaster several times and also tried soaking the whole spindle and bolt in evaporust, neither work. I had to modify the bolt off the drum setup to make it work by making a spacer. The bolt in the spindle on the drum setup is longer than the disc.

I will not go with the rear subframe swap because if you look at the pics
you will see that the subframe is very very rusty (like your name lol)

so i trying to get out the spline out of there but it's very difficult and
i am plannig to cut the hole ting so i can take the spline
