    VAF swap on SOHC?

I know that the VAF swap for the DOHC motor must use the B code VAF but will it interchange for the S code on my SOHC motor?

yes it will swap, but you won't achieve any gains.

BTW the A code VAF doesn't fit the stock airbox

Why would you want to swap your VAF?? the RX7 vaf only sees gains above your redline.
When you turn your car on... does it return the favor?

The Protege's use the same VAF's...slightly different tuning. My Festiva uses the same VAF, as does the SOHC MX3 i jacked my motor out of for it.

You want a 3" VAF. You can get em from the 2g RX7's, and the late 80's model Celicas.

just tryin' to get a little more out of my hampsters.
but alas, if it won't improve anything then I'm sure I can find somewhere else to put 40-50 bucks that will.
