yes, those are them. Depending on what his shipping charge is, thats a good deal. and don't be fooled, they may list for $189, but shipped to your door is ~$170 from Southwest Ford. Although you will still need to order the front thrust bearings from Southwest Ford (or another Ford dealer) anyway.

the benefit is better handling and a more closely matched valving for stiffer performance springs.

Then go here to install them.

      I want those too.

Would that southwest ford sell the struts to the public? I live in Dallas (I know they are in Weatherford), and if it is cheaper, I would rather just drive over there to get them no rather than wait for them to be shipped.
The T3 BP MX-3 conversion has begun, and is taking forever & will kill me.

I don't see why they wouldn't do it. Give them a call and ask. Here's their contact info:

ok, has anyone put them on the 323? I own a 323 and I know that they are supposed to be the same as a protge, but my luck I would get them and the 323, would be slightly different.

Nope, I have them on my 323. Nothing different from the protege swap. Aside from grinding of the thurst bearing mounts, it's practically like an OEM replacement. I also have the ZX2 eibach lowering springs.

Shoulda ordered them from the same place, pretty good price on them (at least not any more expensive that anywhere else).

Though I hear the H&R springs for the MX-3 have a stiffer spring rate front and rear. Those would be nice too

Yes, the MX3 H&R + S/R struts is a nice combo. Not to to rough on the street and still decent performance under racing conditions.

IIRC, these are the spring rates.

                    Eibach front = 180#
                    MX3 H&R front = 200#

                    Eibach rear = 150#
                    MX3 H&R rear = 180#
