    Installing Pioneer XM tuner

I'm going to be installing my Pioneer DEH P6500 HU and XM tuner in my 03 Pro tonight, but I was wondering what the best way to run the wire from the headunit to the XM tuner that will be mounted in the trunk. I'm planning on just hiding it below the doorsills, but my biggest problem is do I need to take the bottom dash panel off on the driver's side? If so, what is the best way to go about that?
    Thanks so much
    You all are great!

the bottom dash panel? under the steering column, or covering the fuse box? the steering column panel is removed by pulling the top edges, rotate it down, and pull it out. the fuse panel is removed by removing the door sill first, then pull out the fastener towards the front of the car. it's a circle within a circle. you need to pull out the inner circle first, then the whole thing. then just pull the panel out
