About Ryan and his car
I came to love the BG in 1999 at the age of 14. I started learning heavily from my eldest brother about cars & seeing as he drove a protégé, it automatically grew a flavor with me. Since that time I have owned a grand total of 8 BG chassis vehicles, sadly 3 of which have been used for donor cars or stripped of good parts & junked. The total of 8 BG’s consisted of 3 protégé LX’s, 1 Escort GT, & 4 323’s. I still own drive/maintain 2 of the 323’s however, the White one is more commonly known to folks on the club.
Through out a vast history & extensive disassembling of many BG chassis vehicles I have learned much about the workings of them & grown to love them even more.
The extensive breakdown of each individual car I’ve owned has taught me a vast majority of knowledge & tricks along the way.
Through my time here I’ve owned 2 white 323’s identical in style, My current & second 323 derived from the spontaneous desire to take a road trip to PA where I purchased the car 1 ½ years ago solely for the sunroof, Plus I got a good deal @ $520 licensed & registered.
I drove the 323 in its stock from straight back from PA without stopping & lacking a radio the entire trip(not recommended to try this at home). Once back I have an extensive love for the car. & I knew immediately that I had to change it to the same setup. I embarked on my quest of changing everything over & replacing all of the LX parts with new OEM replacements & having them coated with high temp paint. I got so carried away throughout the project I decided to buy a fresh motor & located one with 4k miles original. From there I added only a few mods here & there along the way. & only recently I’ve come to my goal of Turboing the BP.
