WELL the only available clears you will find were in fact "home made" in a since anyway. There were group buy here and in that other forum that i forgot the name of and will never speak again, but thats really about it in the existance of clears for the 1st gen, look in the selling threads to see if anyone is tired of theres.

WELCOME!!!! Hope u like your stay here, this board ownzz!

And yeah, the ones that were custom made, were basically home-made by a professional plastic worker. They weren't fabricated via a mold, etc. So you are basically SOL. There aren't any "real" clear corners in existence for the Protege. You could always get the JDM headlights and try to find the clear corners they came with...but they won't fit US spec cars without using the headlights.

i dont understand why a company wont make em for us. could you imagine all the profit the company would make off of us?

becasue it costs like $50g's for the machine that does the mold.

They would maybe sell 30 sets.

Procarparts.com recently created some clear turn signal lenses for the MX3. They are on ebay for $75 a set, and they don't seem to sell too well at that price.

I highly doubt if a company made them for the Protege/323 and sold them for ~$70 that they'd sell many at all. There just isn't enough interest.

hey limpgtx that FMIC is PIMP! although as far as the profit margin for someone making clears they would make good money but the problem is they can make more selling to those damn honda owners
94' Mazda Protege'... trying to return it to former glory.

I think that something that would be even better than plain clear corners, are headlights that wrap around the corner and are all one piece... Wishful thinking, I know, and even if they did exist, I'm too poor to spend my money on something that's just for looks on a car that's starting to lose its paint.

For Hondas, those 1 piece headlight cost like 450$ (in canadian dollars)
Let's imagine how much they would cost us.

                        Integra clear corners are 30$
                        Integra 1 pieces are 450$

                        Protege clear corners are 150$
Protege 1 pieces would be approx. 2250$ !!!

I know it does'nt work that way, but I would'nt be surprised at all if they did cost that much.
