es front brakes

I know I have seen the how2 for the ES front brake swap, but I can't seem to find it on here. Do any of you have it bookmarked. Currently the brakes are working find but the Mrs. is wanting me to do a brake job. I figure if I am gonna do a brake job, that I want to go ahead and upgrade at the same time.
Also if someone finds it we should sticky it along with the rear disc swap. I have done several rear swaps already so I am sure I know what I need for those. But the front I can't remember if you need to replace the spindles to do the swap.

if memory serves me right you need to swap the spindles too.

i have seen no front how-to's for the 2nd gen.
but there are threads on the rear set-up.

i know this doesn't help for the fronts. but you have to replace the spindles on the fronts as well.

well, I have seen one for the second get almost a year ago before I started modding the pro, wish I would have bookmarked it. Maybe it was on another board. Guess I need to start searching the other boards and post it up here.

I forgot about that thread but that still isn't the one I was thinking about. It seems to me there was one with several pics. Although enough is discussed there to do the swap.

yeah, the whole thing isn't difficult, pretty straight forward.

I decided to do a little look up while I was at work and found that the 91-96 escort pads, calipers, and rotors fit the 95-98 pro with the 1.8. I wish I had known this earlier because about 4 months ago I threw out front spindles, calipers and rotors, and pads from a escort gt.

i THINK also the rears from a miata can replace the rear drums. but im still looking into that.

I believe so, also the look up I did was just for the front, but from I understand the escort rear subframe from a 91-96 egt or 98-02 sr zx2 should swap right over.
