    93 LX/GT spindles/hubs/axles the same?

Subject says it all. I know the brakes are bigger but thats not a issue. Just want to know if spindles/hubs from a 93 LX will fit my GT!

I "found" some cheap LX hubs/spindles. I poked through my crappy Ford FSM and obviously the axles are different which is fine except that obviously my axles won't fit into that hub so that MAY be a issue!

escort LX spindles are not the same from what i know, if you can source out anytype of protege 1990-1994 spindle, it'll work, because ppl do BP swaps on thier 323s and base models without having to change spindles

Yeah i was kind of afraid of that considering the LX uses the Ford 1.9 Motor it also uses different axles and duh probably different spindles/hubs. Ahh well thanks for the info!

well it all depends, if you have the 10.25 rotors on the lx you are pulling from the spindles should be the same. Now if the lx has the 9.5 rotors they won't work.
              97 protege dx few mods

              94 escort lx heavily modded

From a 93 supposedly which had 10.25 but it has no rotors anyways on the hubs and i have new ones anyways unless the 10.25 rotors + hubs were a combo deal and different then the 9.5 stuff?!

If you have the 22V 14 calipers on the 93 LX, then they are the same. the splines in the hub are the same across the LX and GT, in my experience. The only real difference was with the brake caliper mounting. With the 22V 14 calipers, they'll bolt right in, and work with your axles and tie rods.
