I think i'm getting back into the BG world

i have an incredible urge to satisfy my passion. ironically i'm not satisfied with my bimmer. partly because it's not nearly as fast/fun as the last gt i built. so then i'm thinking of selling the bimmer and picking up another project escort. this one will be more worked than the last. i'll shoot this time for 400hp. anything less than that wouldn't be worth it.

400hp shouldn't be to difficult. 500hp would be more of a challenge.

you can have my 91 protege LX shell for mad cheap , body is real clean , no rust, all it will need is a motor.I really dont wanna junk this perfectly good shell since it has all teh exterior panels except for a front bumper, the headlights an tailights

i have a 325is with bolt ons. putting close to 200whp but on a car weighing in the upper 2000lbs it's not enough of a rush. they each have their pros and cons. but anyone that knows me knows that i have a special place in my heart for BG's especially escorts. of course i'm an engineer i can keep the bimmer and still do the escort but i'd like to fulfill what i've always dreamed of. a 400+whp escort running 10's, then i'll move on to another platform.

Glad to see your coming back to the bg. I used to have a gt but now I am working on a lx that will be a gt shortly except with zx2 sr rear disc. Already have the gt sway bar and all es bushings. Planning on a gtr engine swap after my move to NY this summer. Can't wait to get rid of this 1.9 sohc engine!!
