    balljoints are different?

ok basically i went to the parts place and asked for a 92 lower balljoint and they need a vin number to get the right part because theres two, i guess, so my question is this

    will a 90 lower balljoint fit a 92?

reason being is that i have a brand new just outta the box 90 ball joint and dont wanna drop 70 bucks again for nothing

    thanks in advance

i bet the part difference is between AWD and FWD....but i also suspect them to be the same anyway....i am like 90% sure the 90 will fit. I am not aware of any control arm or spindle changes.

thanks i was also of the same mindset, they look the same and i put it beside the 92 one while still in the car and everything looked fine, just wanted to make sure

      thanks
