    Question for the suspension guys

I just noticed, well not really, but I see that the sway bar links on our cars are awfully skinny. Aside from being stronger, would there be an advantage in handling by having thicker (therefore stronger) sway bar links over the stock ones??
Obviously this isn't going to be the first thing that someone would upgrade on their suspension but what advantages would it have??
Would it only be worthwhile with performance swaybars??
I've been contemplating making a few sets, now that I've got some spare time coming up starting in a couple weeks.

Assuming that the stock end links are rigid enough (i.e. they don't bend/flex/stretch), there would be no real performance benefit to using beefier ones.

I think the stock end links are a bit too wimpy though... my girlfriend broke her driver's side link somehow. I have no clue how the hell that happened.
