    12 inch big brake kit

    I was e-mailing Rafi over at RR-racing.com about doing a big brake kit for a 90 protege which I believe is the same as the ( 91-96 EGT and 92 - 95 MX-3 ) and got a response from him saying if he gets 5 people to buy he will make a 12 inch big brake kit for our vehicles. The kit will include a 12 inch rotor and a caliper relocation bracket for around $580 + shipping. for more details on this kit goto RR-Racing.com and look under 12 inch big brake kit. This shop mainly deals with The Ford probe and the Mazda MX-6 but hey every little thing counts.

      are you sure wilwood makes one? they make the calipers, and rotors, but there was some other company that made the whole assembly as a kit, the most important part being the caliper mounting bracket.

        mods: engine: fm stroker lightened and knifedged crank, 11:1, custom crank scraper, fully p&p head and intake mani, bored throttle body, flowed and matched stock injectors, rx7 vaf, apexi safc, gude race cams, modded ecu 8200 fuel cutoff, blaster coil, clutchmasters stage 3 clutch, fidanza fly wheel and timeing gears, msp diff, custom shortram in a cold air box

        suspension: s/r struts intrack springs and intrax sway bars 15x6.5 rims kumho mx tires 205 50 r 15

              ya and a gtx engine doesnt cost that much. i mean for my truck im about to build a new engine. new block 500 new heads 1500 new forged and balanced crank 500 plus rods and pistons. its not that bad. look at how much honda guys pay for b18c5 or even how much for a b16a. you need to look at things from a broad perspective.

                Just under 1300 for the front with 4 piston calipers, ss lines, pad and 13" rotors. Around 790 for the rear having to use stock calipers, comes with pads, ss lines and 13" rotors.

                  brakes are not something you really want done cheap. But i guess thats just me.
