CM Lightweight flywheel delivered with new pics

Clutchmasters 7lb flywheel and lightened spec stage 3 clutch are here. Clutch came in a week ago.
The new flywheel came in today. It is very nice and extremely light. Here are some pics.

The flywheel cost me $391 which was less than cost delivered, and the clutch kit was $371 including shipping and lighten package.

hmmm, my LtWt stage2 had like twice as many holes in the pressure plate.
how are you liking the clutch?

stuff looks nice. but im a fan of rotational inertia over fashion statements.

wow, you almost got a compliment out of the old sourpuss

fwiw, I thought the same thing until I rowed thru the gears with my LtWt set-up.
iirc, the Spec clutch was 2-3# lighter than the Centerforce that is was replacing. Flywheel was 8-9# lighter?

i had a lightened flywheel on my gtx motor when i originally swapped it. i swapped back to stock. i wasn't a fan. are teh parts nice yes. are they going to make more hp yes. i gave him a compliment i just also gave my opinion. so sourpuss i am. i just choose trq over hp.

                  lol, learn more physics.
less interia with the same amount of torque = more acceleration (and hp is also related) that's why you accel more quickly with ltwt wheels, moreforce makesitto thewheels, the Ozzies call this "tractive effort".
I can show you the math if you like?

a heavy flywheel gives you more MOMENTUM for drag launches. It's nice for daily driving and starting up on steep hills.
