Well today i started and finished ripping apart the pro GT. it took my uncle and i 5.5 hours to dismantle the interior, remove the engine, and split the tranny. removing a heater core sucks ass. for starters there are 3 bolts under the windshield defrost vents. to find them i have to call calbemric. then there is the whole removal of the hoses, and the rest of the dash. and after all this work i discoverd that both the GT and my LX have fuked cores. so off to mazda i go. To anyone else thinking about replacing their core, set aside 10+ hours to do this job.
