    Royal Purple VS REDLINE oils?

Just curious to find out which one superceeds the other?
Both appear to have great results on all levels.
Anyone one have comparative results between the two?

ouch, that was harsh 99protegeGTR (which i doubt you're GTR)

but yea, bpt323. i've always used Royal Purple in my cars and never had issues with it before. mind you i only use Royal Purple for the tranny fluid just because its not changed frequently.

i've used 75W90 and that synchomax. the 75W90 was super thick and hard to shift in cold weather until things warmed up, but it definately pro-longed the life of my new tranny, versus my old one (it did what yours did the 4th day i bought my EGT).

i hope to see smoother responce with the synchromax, its a lot thinner and recommended for manual trannies. and these all require no additives as well.

ps. K&N oil filters work good too, i ran those for a while, kept my oil way cleaner compared to most generic brands, i'd say about 1,500K difference.

ive used both. the cost difference makes up the slight performance gain you get by using redline over RP. ive used RP for a couple years now and im happy with it.

Redline in both teh tranny and engine. I had RP in my first transmission and I started to get the 2nd gear grind. Took that out, put Redline and the grind went away....

ive got whatever is in my tranny. . . couldnt tell you. ive heard a lot of people, mostly from the racing community, say that redline cures tranny ailments. there are a lot of people religious about using it, and that says a lot about the quality of their products.
