Possibly making it back to an N/A BP when I leave in October for my Little Brother...

    Background:

This car was my brother's before mine. I started working around 13 to start to save up to get a 3000GT VR4. At 16 I started driving a 1990 Eclipse GS. Around 16 1/2 I went to go buy a 3000GT SL for $4500 but decided it wasn't my thing (wasn't what I hoped for), so I neded decided to pick up a Eclipse GSX, I went to go pick one up for $2000, but the guy flaked on me and wouldn't sell it, so I came home dissapointed.

Well the MX-3 was then parked in the backyard, hatchless, with a keyed Mustang Green paintjob and had a driver's side window broken out. My brother asked if I wanted to buy it for $800 (He had gone through 3 hatches, a hood, front bumper, 2 driver's side doors, and 3 paint jobs because of some wanna be gang thinking they were cool decided to pikc on some whiteguy). So I said yes, went and found a hatch, driver's side window, and got an OK paintjob (I was still in HS so figured hey, it is gonna get messed up anyways, which it has). Then came the game of speed, it handled awesome with stock suspension and the 17X7 gold rims w/ Falken rubber I had to start with, so I thought I would give it some speed. In the next year I saved up, and read a lot on MX-3.com and CP.com, also a lot on RX7club.com. After around 8 months I started ordering parts when I found a deal. I ended up with a SAFC II, BP w/ Tranny, ECU and Harness, VF10/VJ20 Hybrid, a nice IC, guages and a MBC, for around $1800. I installed the BP in Febuary-March of 2005, and ran the car for 3 months until I had all my IC couplers and parts to turbo.

In June I got the exhaust installed, IC piping done, and was on the road with what I thought would be around 200whp, man was I wrong.

In September I got the suspension I needed, and brakes, then went and dyno'd, with the setup how it was I was running 145whp. I was depressed, until while talking to the dyno guy realized I had the wrong heatrange NGK Spark plugs. So we called napa and they didn't have the right ones, but a set that might work, so we got them, and the next 2 passes I had went from 145 to 210 and 212 whp. I was happy again, cause that was at 12 PSI running very rich.

In Febuary of 2006 I found myself with a BP losing compression on 1 cyl, so I decided to get myself another low milage one and have fun with the one that was dieing. Went and picked another BP up and blew up the old one with a 29+psi boost spike, blew a rod through the block. By march I had my new one in boosting with a VF12/VJ20 hybrid, which pulls. Went to dyno and at 8PSI I was pushing 210whp, but I couldn't boost above that cause my clutch would slip, I had got oil on it when I blew up the first engine and so I need a New clutch.

And that is where I am at today....

I've decided that my car is a girl, she's picky as hell, won't listen to me, always wants to fight me, and when i give her presents it's never good enough and she always wants more.
