    KLZE swap

    ok i have a 95 MX3 with the B6 motor, it is seriously weak, what all do i need to make the swap?? engine, tranny, axels, MX6 hubs, fuel system...... what do i do about mounts?? do the GS and the RS share the same mout locations and will they accomodate the 2.5L in the 1.6L body?? what are your recommendations on any shortcuts that can be taken to alleviate some of the stress of this swap

    everythign in a gs, u need in the rs just a summary
    crossmember
    axles
    shifter linkage
    Motor/tranny mounts
    radiator
    brake booster hose
    engine harness - ECU

    thats it.. your makin it alot harder than it is.

      If I might make a recommendation. I have a KLZEd Mx3, and if you don't have a V6 Mx3 to start with, you're far better off going with a BPT. The I4 to V6 swap sucks. jitb37, I know you've done the swap over, do you agree?

        yea its not too hard, ive put a bp in a gs, put a kl-klze-k8-kfze in a RS/GS and a protege. The only thing u need in a v6 swap over the bp swap in a 4cyl mx3 is the crossmember and radiator, and one mount/linkage. Its a really simple swap not as hard as it seems.. trust me

        buit if i had a RS i would throw a bp in it tho but tahts just me...
