Complete 323 GTR front end conversion

Came across this a while back....... a Laser TX3 (91-6 Escort) with a 323 GTR hood, lamps, grille, and bumper - not bad

From what I can tell, the 323/GTR hood must be the same size dimensionally as the Ford BG variants - whereas the Protege is different.....

Only 'weird' area is where the cornerlamps meet the lights and bumper..... other than that it looks really clean

neuman's not gonna like this its almost the same colour too. BUT his is much better than that TX3 will ever be.

eric is not going to care at all... his is actually a conversion, fenders cut, combine, fitted... this is just an escort with a protege hood, headlights, grill, and bumper. there was quite a bit i didnt like about that car... the cornerlights being escort, and the headlights being pro, didnt go well.... oh well, i do give props for work and time. looks ill refraine

i posted this over on feoa also but:

i like how they cut up a set of jdm corners to make the headlights meet the corners and you can even see where they didn't trim off enuf of the lense so the amber shows. i can pic this car apart and im not enve with in 3000 miles of it. im not saying mine is perfect but it nite and day difference then this pyle.

Both cars have really nice qualities, although newman did some similar mods that I have done to my rear. Just of course not with the same kit.

yeah im not talking about my rear being any more hardcore or correct then the next guy but my front is done right! his is poop! cool idea yes. having it done right is a totally different world tho.

also im selling my front bumper if anyone wants it. i have desided to go a different route.

Until i see a GTR bumper on there.....to me, all you'll have is a is a 323 front end. Those so called "hack jobs" are true GTR front ends with the grill, hood, bumper, fenders and everything...not just some jdm parts for a 323. Sure the parts might bolt up the same but its NOT the same.
