If you get a chance to hear/get a hold of these sink your in teeth boy. Unmatched sound quality period. Yes, they do cost over a $1000 a piece and yes they must be in a large ported box, and ironically they don't make a reconing kit for which most recently I've been informed by Focal...but let that be no deterrent my friend.
They make a damn accurate driver as well like the Italians they don't let you down in the aesthetics department. I know of no other company that has a magnet configuration like this.
Intended purpose is SQ although SPL is in the model #. Most impressive about these subs were how little pistonic movement the cone makes vs. output. I'm telling you they barely move and bowwa. Xmax is only 5mm !!!
I'm sad to say she's gone now
and she's not coming back 
. Evidently they're okay making $1000+ subs that when not if become damaged you're supposed to just discard.
