I have a 91 LX 1.8l DOHC. Mods to the engine, 3" intake adaptor and k&N air filter, and catback 2.25" exhaust. My best time to date so far was a 17.0 @85mph ( i think) this was at 7800ft. So down at sea level Ill probably be in the 16s.

        15.9@87mph

With a stock BP05 head on a BP01 block. No intake or headers or high flow cat on that run. That was also with 17s with garbage tires ans a full sound system. I should go back sometime....

        I want a turbo.

elevation, climate conditions, car maintenance, abuse worn on engine, the ever popular 'slipping clutch', driver skill, mods (including shifter), wheel size.. i mean, everything plays a factor..

My best is 16.753@~80. '90 Protege, Pacesetter header and turbo muffler (still stock piping), 205/50-15 Azenis. Coil-overs. 2800ft above sea level.

I'll see next spring what the car will do closer to sea level when the season opens here in Topeka. (The car will also be here).

Now, my other car just ran a 14.515 @95.49, with a blown 2-3 shift. And that's with the spare in, and a bunch of other stuff in the car. Oh, and a 40lbs trailer hitch.
