    Tint Removal

As you all know, my tint is going in the back. Should I just have someone take it off and re tint it? how much would they charge? Or shoudl I just take it off myself? I heard its a pain in the ass. I was thinking I should just take it all off and get the darkest tint possible. Its getting slightly purple.

taking off tint is a pain in the ass.

I tried using the window cleaner method and it didnt work.

So i ended up using a razor blade. Not fun. If its cheap enough and your time is valuable enough i would pay them.

You must heat it w/ a heat gun and its really not that hard just start at a corner and watch out for the defroster.

And if the alcohol doesn't work, get some different alcohol and you won't care so much anymore if you've messed up your windows

tint shops hate taking tint off because its such a pain in the ass. My friend who has a tint shop was going to charge me $85 more to take it off himself. So I did it.

AIght I found this place that charges 150 bucks maybe a little less to remove the tint and put dark ass limo tint in its place. I think its a pretty good deal.

$150 to remove AND tint? I'd say that's a good price. I was quoted at $159 just for the tint.
