    Low breaks

    Hi there,
    I'm driving 2000 Protege DX
    Front rotors
    Rear drums,
    No ABS

Once I'd to hit breaks really hard, after that my breaks became low. I replaced rotors, pads, shoes, fluid at Mazda dealership. Nothing, I can hit the pedal down to the floor and it would not lock the wheels.
    Any ideas?
    Thanks!

you sure you don't have a fluid leak?

    and it's brakes, not breaks..

I'm sure i don't have a leak. I run without replacing the fluid for a couple of thousands of miles already and the fluid level is the same.

And thanks for correcting my English, haha. It is not my first language, tho I should know the difference between breaks and brakes. :-)

Mine are pretty low too. You need to take off the rear drums and look inside. Brake dust gets into the self adjuster so youll need to just touch it with a screw driver.

Other then that bleeding the lines should also help.

Could be a faulty Master Cylinder. same problem happened to me this summer.

Seconded. Also are you seeing any leaks at the calipers, lines, or master cylinder?
