    Think a built BP could....

Handle a 75-100 shot of Nitrous? If it was all rebuilt with OEM parts??

umm, a stock one will hold it....without issues.

it'll hold ~175 shot if you do it right. but the gearbox won't take it.

        depends...

do a progressive shot....where it comes on gradually, and it'll hold a lot more, reliably.

yea that was my plan. Sucks that no company makes one specifically for our cars, or is there one. I guess a universal will have to do.

175 shot i think is soo much for "stock" motor.

why? that puts output somewhere near 300 whp. we already know that the internals are good for 400whp.

I don't see an issue if you have the fuel to keep up with the nitrous and do it progressively.

I think the biggest fear people have is Everyone always skitzs out when they here to words stock motor.. I have been contemplating doing a staged 150 shot for a long time just my tranny is on its way out and needs a rebuild before i do so.

The BP is awfully under-rated. There aren't many stock 4cyl motors that can handle that kind of power.

there's a couple others...but thats off the top of my head. ALL the big 1.8L and 2L motors from the early 90s were awesome engines.

Is the BP considered a big 1.8l??

I dont know. Jesse said that all the BIG 1.8l and 2.0l of the early 90s were awesoem engines. I was just wondering if the BP was considered one of them. Or did he mean BIG as in popularity?
