    First autoX with the escort

It went pretty well. All 4 runs were clean, and the car was extremely neutral and easy to drive. This course was ridiculously fast for an autoX, and I got up to 90-95 in one spot. I heard that the really fast cars were nearing 120. I didn't have time to tune it or adjust my PSI (which I found out later was probably too high) but that was OK since I was still figuring out how to drive the car. My lap times were like so:
    1:48
    1:45
    1:41
    1:37
So I'm not really sure how fast the car could have gone since my times weren't near evening out. I'm guessing if i had a few more laps and had the PSI lower I could have gotten bottom 1:30's that day. When I was driving the car I never had to use more than 75% of the braking ability so it had a lot left to give.

Next I want to get the caster bushings to make the car less twitchy but I have high hopes for the escort next year.

I don't have other car's times yet, but I'll post them when they're online.

If i may so ask. What PSI are you running in the tires? Even basic AutoX info usually says u run a good bit more then the wussy soft daily pressure of what 28-32 or so?! I run ATLEAST 35-36 COLD on my ES100s but then again my only handling tests were around town and such!
**SOLD** 93 EGT with more suspension mods then your average riced out civic's # of decals + useless "bling/style/culture" mods! **SOLD**
95 EGT New beater! And gawd damnit shes NOT pink!

42psi all around. That's what I run daily too.

Thanks for the compliments guys, when they post times you'll see what kinda randomness that was there. Tons of different cars.

Wow thats a bit much especially since most tires say 40 psi max and thats hot i do believe!

rofl, that's my dad's car. He was going to race it but they didn't have fun runs that day. I can guaruntee though with him driving it he would have beaten my times. That thing is ridiculous, he was swerving back and forth on the freeway on the way to the race after I started doing it, that car has NO body lean AT ALL.

Azenis max PSI is 50, it wasn't hurting them at all. Best driving feel this way IMO although it's slightly over-inflated, just barely though based on the wear pattern. High 30's would probably be perfect actually.

Oh hmm... RT 615s or the older ones? I'm going for the 615s when my ES 100s finally **** the bed!

I have the 615's now and at 35 PSI they are still very responsive to input unlike the old style which seems to drag alittle.

                      BTW cutlaas, nice pics

I have the 615's. Great tires, I'd reccomend them. Interestingly enough, the e30 m3 and fx16 and probably others had the excact same tires as I did (205/50/15).

You'll like them, it seems nowadays everyone has them so I must not be the only one that likes them.
