    gen2 pro, 42+ offset???

    will a 17x7 rims with +42 offset fit on my 1995 protege? any have any experiences/suggestions/comments?

        see. I don't know if you want to get that offset.

        I will tell you something. when I had my 16x7 rims with +40 offset. I used to put my hand in the back and feel how much space there was between the wheel and the strut and there wasn't much. Maybe a finger would fit in there.
        So to use a +42. I am not sure if that would work. I would like to see what a +38 offset wheel would look like on our cars, in like a 15" rim.

          i have the 16x7 with a 36+ offset, and they never rubbed or anything when they were slammed with my coilovers. they actually look like the are flush with the fenders. they looked good.
          but right now i just have my 15's on, not too sure on the offset on them, maybe around 37-39+? around there.
          maybe less is better, 36-40+.
