    need a wiper switch

when i bought my mazda the wiper's didn't work. so i hooked up a togle switch. i finally found a car in the junk yard and i'm going to get the switch from it. but do i need to get just the switch from the coluam or the wire assy. as well, and if so how hard is this to do. any help would be greatly apreciated.

Do you have a DX or an LX? I need a new assembly for both my wiper controls, as well as the light stalk for my 323.

I'm going to pull it out of an LX to see if I can give myself some free intermittant wipers, it might be worth a try if you don't have intermittant wipers

i pulled on off of a GT. i need it because my turn siganl has a mind of it own. i'll post pic (as soo an i can find someone to host them) on what you have to pull and what bolts need to be undone.
When you turn your car on... does it return the favor?

ok the part i pulled when i replaced my turnsignal assembly.

you then have to split the two. this is done by undoing one bolt, lifting a tab and pulling.

swap in the new on everything should just plug back together.

holy chit! That's one hunk of thing to tear out just for the turns/washers

Did yours have intermittant wipers before? Do they now?

I am probably quite simple for asking this but, did 1st gens not come with intermittent wipers? Well some at least? Cuz mine has them...so i am slightly confused on the topic

No, I'm not talking about the variable stuff. I don't have intermittant wipers at all in my 323. In my LX I do.

and there is the answer to my next question...

I remember reading somewhere that the variable wipers from an MPV will work. Don't take my word for it, though. Also, I don't know what year.
