I saw it on ebay and figured what the heck.. The price was not bad and I needed one. Hopefully it works the way I want it to .

Now all I need to do is get my blow off valve. But to be honest, I have been considering a BPV. I really don't want everyone hearing my swoosh after every gear. In a way I do but in a way I like to keep that underdog look.
Anyway that will be decided later.

I gotta sell this camera so I can get the purchasing... (not spending my cash)

bah if anyone asks just say you bought one of those fake BOV's that go in your muffler but when you race em, you kick their ass besides sooner or latter people are gonna find out you have one anyway

but see once they know you have a turbo it wont matter if you have that nice sound or not.... they will still know. so make it sound pretty

Differnt BOV's have differnt sounds. I've head the larger HKS barely makes a sound unless you are in high boost. My TurboXS is way too loud for me.

You can Just get a stock BOV from the GTX you can't hear a thing. =)

Regardless of a BOV or not, you can still here the sound of the turbo spooling.

When someone asks me what I got. I will just say Intake work and exhaust.

i left it at CS when i upgraded my BOV, i'll see if i can get it back from them if you want it.

my opinion is that anybody who is worth racing will know what a turbo spool up is but yea for those dumb people that think that they are about to prey on a little 1.5 liter the intake and exhaust excuse might do the trick. just my 2cents:-)

Hey, I dont know about the VJ-20 but some turbos have a adjustable wastegate so you dont need a boost controller for reasonable boost. I doubt the vj-20 does since its so old, but you might want to test the wastegate and see what PSI it opens at. I know i will.

the vj-20 has an internal wastegate, but definitely not an adjustable one.
