Complete BP Engine Swap

94 BP (120k) w/ 95 Miata Head (4k)
Head is Ported and Polished w/ a 3-angle valve job
I've also installed heavy duty valve springs for 8500rpm
The intake manifold has been port matched and polished as well
I've also installed ARP Head Studs and a new Mazda Headgasket
Motor has the PaceSetter ceramic coated header on it
94 Escort GT Transmission (130k) w/ BRAND NEW axles
Used redline fluids, shifts perfect
ACT Z62-HDSS clutch kit installed currently on OEM flywheel (4k)
Front and side MM Motor mounts filled, also filled side mounts
94 Protege ECU included (waiting on harness)
Also have shift linkage, front brakes, master/slave cylinders
Two factory radiators, cooling fans, misc parts included
Rear Swaybar as well.

Haltech E6K setup for a Mazdaspeed Protege
This can be used on any car, but has been setup for an MSP

Includes trimmed flying lead, 2 or 3 bar MAP sensor, coolant temp sensor, relays, fuse panel, instructions, RA8 reluctor adapter, wiring guide, software and serial cable. $1100

RC Engineering 440cc Injectors w/ Connectors
These were used 215 miles and pulled out to tune stock injectors. Includes 4 new connectors ($16 value) , an awesome upgrade for anyone using engine management or piggy backs on a turbo motor. $300

91 RX-7 460cc Drop in Injectors
These will bolt into any GTX or BP motor, as well as 3rd gen FS motors or anything using the same style injector. Tested to work and pulled afterwards. Also a great and cheaper upgrade if you don't want to pay extra for the B&B RC's. $120

J&S Safeguard Knock Controller
For use with any RX-7 or toyota MR2 (requires reprogram for MR2)
I picked up this unit on accident thinking I could use it, little did I know it was the wrong model.. so my loss your gain. This includes the base unit valued at $450, the optional Bosch Knock sensor valued at $75 and the Dual Monitor Gauge (square) valuved at $199. All of this for $400.

ok... i've done a lot of searching around and have not found any springs what so ever to speak of that are after market....

How do you claim you have aftermarket springs in the head.

Im not saying i dont believe you on your statement i would just like to know here you got them from and where as well i can get my grubby little hands on some

are you willing to sell just the motor?


or just the head with the exhaust header? (the ARP head studs would be nice to)

is the thermostat housing changed over to the front of the head instead of the back for the miata?

The parts are actually discontinued now, I believe that the springs were off of a volvo or something of those sorts. But they happen to be exactly the same size and a LOT stiffer. (I put them in by hand) and boy are they strong! I ended up grabbing them from my buddy who builds miata motors day in and out, happened to have a set when i was getting my head work done.

I will sell the motor , complete, i will pull the tranny off and you would get the header, motor, and anything else thats bolted to it (alternator, power steering pump, manifolds etc...)

I've got a potential for the Head but if u want the whole motor i'd be much happier going that route.

The thermo housing and everything has been custom done for the FWD setup. It's a one of a kind head and is beautifully done.

What is there to do to change the thermostat housings? Both of the locations are cast into the head. It's simply a matter of moving the blocking plate from the back to the front and installing the FWD housing on the back.

what are you lloking at for the cost of the whole motor.

and then again what are you looking at for a cost of just the head and accessories(intake manifold and header)

Not sure on shipping costs for either of those. I may be able to fit the tranny and axles in a monitor box and ship UPS ground but I'd estimate shipping to be between $50-100 if it goes that way.

The head and stuff I can pack into seperate boxes, I have a bid on the head right now alone, but if it all goes at once I'd like to do it that way.

OK, I will let you know soon. My tranny is grinding in 2nd all the time. I am thinking its the clutch not releasing all the way, but then again, 1st grinds once in a while, so its prolly my syncros. Is the tranny is good condition? Leak fluids? Anymore info on it or its history would be great. Will be in touch.

Tranny works great, I picked it up out of a 94 EGT at 120k and have had it in my car for probably 20k, swapped over to redline MTL as soon as I got it and never had any problems. No leaks, I even replaced the axle seals while I was at it. The axles I have are BRAND NEW, never used, comes with locknuts too.

Hey, man I got a question again about the tranny. Will you put some kind of a gaurentee on it? My parents are kinda unsure abouto no with no gaurentee. If you cannot or anyting, thats fine. If you know of one that someone else has or somthing, let me know. Thanks so much.

I can guarantee that it was fine when it came out of my car. It's been sitting in the garage for almost 1 year now. I picked up the new axles about 2 weeks ago.

Do you think that the transmission will hold up to a turbo motor? I am just concerned about the milage and what not. If you could give your opinon on this I would be greatful. Thanks

It has been on 3 turbo motors and has held the power without any problems. It's all about your driving style and how you deal with the power.
