I'm not sure what to say. I first had a POS 91 escort LX and decided it wasn't worth the time to fix up and ended up buying my 96 Escort GT brand new with the full intent of it being a never ending project. I picked up my 91 Escort GT as a daliy beater, slowing turning project car, to get me around to allow for down time on the 96. I grew up with a family of car people. I been messing with cars since I was 3 years old, true story. I was working in a body shop while I was in high school, untill I had a really bad car accident that left me a parapaligic and was unmotivated and unable to work there. After some time later I just couldn't stay away from cars. I had to 180 my job situation, but just had to tweek on cars when I could. KEEP ME AWAY FROM THE TOOLS! HELP ME I CAN'T STOP!

I've decided that my car is a girl, she's picky as hell, won't listen to me, always wants to fight me, and when i give her presents it's never good enough and she always wants more.

Congratulations, Denis. You have the one of the meanest 'Scorts around, and probably one of the quickest. 3 cheers for never-ending projects!

The body is good, but the paint on it sucks. I've been slowly working on it so it can get a nice fresh cote of paint on it. Refer to pic of primered escort.

grrrrrrr im just about to start on my body and have more to do than you can imagine. it looks better than it is. get up within 10 feet and you realize it looks like someone shot the car with like 10000 bebe's so i need lots and lots of hotglue and a dent puller and lots of filler and lots of fiberglass to help with the rust (note i dont weld one of those things i havent learned) so im gonna be working my tail off on this car but shaveing the ridges off the bumpers and getting rid of the side ridges and roof moldings. lots of work but will be worth it.
