Well,
this morning I finally got a chance to run against my old car (or at least one like it)
On the turnpike south he rolled up on me hard and revved. I was a bit sleepy so I didn't notice until about the 3rd or 4th attempt by him. I gave an approving nod. we were both crusing about 65. he gave a 1-2-3 on the horn. we both down shifted, me into 3rd and I'd say @ 66 him into 3rd as well (unless it was a sport shift). by the top of third I had 3/4 of a car on him when we had to let off due to rolloing up on traffic. I expected it to be reveresed but it was like 55 degrees and my car pulled harder than I have ever felt it pull. man do these little turbos love cold weather. i'll need to try on a regular florida day and it may very well be reversed.
