Mazdaspeed 6 engine and AWD swap into 99 es

Just wondering if it sounds like it could possibly work
besides the amount of custom work that would need to be done
and the money and time involved
But i think it would decimate all that approches

ummm. that would be a completely custom car. nothing is going to bolt up. i like to use analogies such as... why not use an Audi S4 twin turbo motor and drivetrain? it will take just as much work..

AWD isn't going to happen.

You could swap the MZR DISI engine but it'll take a lot of work. You'd need a Mazda 3 transmission, MazdaSpeed 6 ECU, custom mounts and lots of effort. Expensive comes to mind.

You would also need MS6 fuel system ( pump, lines.ect) the MS6 harnesses ( not just engine ) not to mention the nightmare with the module communcation (all module share info to/from ECU, ABS, instrument cluster, audio system(yes) you get the message . You would basicly have to put your 99 skin over a MS6.
