removing stereo from 00 protege

Hello, I just bought a 2000 protege on the weekend and am looking to replace the factory cd player with a pioneer deck I allready have. Basically I am looking for a wiring diagram and any tips to help with getting the stocker out. I allready took a look and seems like I might have to remove more than just the trim that goes around the stereo and heater controls. Any suggestions. Thanks

You really shouldn't need a wiring diagram to wire a CD player up. You'll need a harness and mounting kit, and you just have to match wire colors to each other for the most part.
