93 mx3 v6 horn issues - not working. no fuse?

yay! im now the proud owner of a beautiful mx3 v6. with a horn that doesnt work! - i finally found the horn - but still no fuse for it - is there one? anyone know where it is? all i get from my streering wheel is a clicking when i push - havent had time to break open the streering wheel yet....was hoping to avoid that.

    thanks

often these cars will have problems with the switch in the steering wheel. soooo check elsewhere first if you want, but you may have to crack that wheel open anyway

got pictures of the new ride?

well the clicking is probably the switch moving. it probably clicks when the horn DOES work, but you cant hear it because the horn is going off lol. the horn itself could have died too, but thats easy to test by just connecting it straight to the battery

well i would hope not - eesh. anyway - what about fuse location? not in the standard driver's side kickpanel - nor under the hood - maybe its in the steering wheel..

thanks - i picked it up off craigslist for 900 bucks!! when i drove it - i knew it was a steal!! the previous owners REALLY took care of it - motor sounds brand new! and just drives just as well. the carfax showed a clean history - and the guy was shipping off to the army the next day - so...given that i was looking at picking up one of my dream cars for les than half of blue book...it was a no brainer!

                  blessed be the mx3
