we all use the same struts. thats why we can all use zx2 struts. im sure they fit fine or i wouldnt sell them here. good lookin out thoComment

Springs
All springs interchange between the MX3, 1st gen Protege / 323, 91+ Escorts and Tracers and ZX2's. However the spring-rates may be different between certain models. MX3 springs are stiffer in the front due to their heavier V6 motor.
That says 1st Gen....I've got a 2nd Gen. Will they still fit? I just want to make 100% sure before I buy these things and take my car apart. Sorry for the hassle.

i have been asked by a few how they ride so i thought i might as well put my comments up. they are 450/350 spring rate in 6 inch front and 7 inch rear springs. these were never on my car so i dont know how they ride. i recieved them in a parts trade. my set up is 500/300 in 8 inch front and rear springs, way stiffer than the dz's. this is my daily driver. i would imagine them to be much softer than my car which i think is a bit harsh only in some places but not bone jaring. if your ride bounces or sux it will not improve with coilovers, replace your struts. if your complaining about harshness with coilovers you probably have dead struts or struts valved for stock or lowering springsComment
