    how do u tell the diffrence btw.

    f seris and g seris from kia with out the engine .. all u have is lots of grease . front motor mount and thats it ..

    just help me please .. i think i grabbed the wrong tranny yesterday at jy .. help specifications please

      damn i typed this all out i guess it didnt submit.

      check the spline count on the input shaft. it should be the same as listed for the clutch on a protege LX. 22 splines i think, check rockauto or something similar to be sure.

      also you could check the spline count on the axles if you grabbed them. i think 28 splines would be right for a kia g-series. also if its a g-series it will have the pass side stubshaft that bolts to the block like in the protege. the f-series has the long ass passenger side axle.

                          are u sure?

                          are u sure .. cause the spleen count changes so . let me get this stright ..the spleen count on the cvs only change on the tranny .not for the hub..... are u sure ... casuse those basterds chaged me 60 bucks for that **** .. and i dont think i can get a return . buti dont have to change my calipers .. i can use mazda calipers on that spindle

                            the mazda calipers did seems to fit when i tried them *shrug*


                            the spline count does not change on the hub and, only on the transmission end
