ok i swapped the g-series tranny in and it looks like the speed sensor off my protege dx wont work with the new transmission... its like totally different and not interchangable. anyone know how to fix this?

Your speedometer cable will unhook about 1/2 through. It's a simple pull and twist. Then swap it with a G-Series.
