    re harness

will a 91 pro 1.8 mtx harness just plug and play in a 93 1.9 escort for a gtx swap. also how bout the 91 pro ecu??

has anyone done the 1.9 to 1.8 swap???

no it wont plug and play... the only way it will is if you swap out the whole dash harness and the front harness in the engine bay (headlights and all that). the fuse box and rear harness can stay as far as i know.

well if you like wiring... you can repin things to get it to work with the original 1.9 dash harness. sarge is running his BPT wagon with the original dash harness. OR you can remove the dash and swap out that whole harness, and the harness leading to the front of the car, for one from an EGT or protege

I have a LHD GTX harness that i bought when i was planning on doing the BP-t swap into my 2nd gen. I'm no longer going ahead with the swap. I paid $200 for it. PM me if you're interested. I'm in Charlottetown btw.
