    Underdrive Pulleys?

So whats everyone's opinion on the Unorthadox underdrive crank pulley? Does anyone here have one? I was thinking of ordering one.

    Thanks,
    Zach

I was thinking about getting that pulley a few years back but after some research I found out that lighter underdrive pulleys don't work that good on our cars. If you have a sound system then don't get one for sure....not worth it.

I have one that I bought for my car. I went to put it on, but I had the wrong belts, took it off and never put it back on. Since the new motor I have is from a '94, the old pulley won't work.

It's black. I think I paid $130 for it. Make me an offer (although I'm not sure if my wife would know where to find it...She and the pulley are in CA, and I'm in KS).

They are probably worth 2-4hp, with the gain increasing with speed. The gain comes from two sources, less rotational mass, and slower accessory speeds (which is why it's a bad idea if you have a stereo).
