We all know here that we love our first gens... And we all wish to pay respect to our baby's by adding performance mods, appearance mods, and ultimately making our cars better and better... whether it be for hobby, for driving enjoyablity, showing off... or just for the simple priciple.

Now... whatever it may be, here is the question of the day:

What would you do to your first gen...
if you won One Million Dollars???

Engine Swaps? Complete Makeover? Send it to a Shop? Paint? Would you even keep it? Would you make the dream first gen?

For some reason this subject put me in a state of awe this afternoon... I am very interested into reading what all of you may come up with, for I would like to analyze all the correlations that come up between ideas... Be Brief if you want... or ****.. let the keys fly... Peace Yall

Lol, pay some guy to do a big turbo + AWD conversion, plus, beef up the AWD drivetrain. Haltech for fuel / timing management, T3/T4 turbo (larger trim?), lightweight 15" wheels, good tires. Beefy swaybars and nice coilover suspension, Darryl's suspension goodies.

The rest of the money I would put to better use

then go out and import a true GTR
from there all the works paint job rims tires suspension upgrades extremely beefed up AWD drivetrain... new 6 speed tranny... bigger turbo, haltech E6X .... you know the usual goodies

pay someone to do a gtr swap, full gtx body kit with egt side skirts, paint job with all imperfections in the body addressed, upgraded turbo, fmic, big ass bov, haltech, mazdaspeed struts, lightweight 16's, gtr front strut bar, darryl's rear strut bar, all of his suspension junk, act stage 3 clutch, beefed up transmission, and a small island in the caribean

Swap in either a built bad ass GTR engine or a chevy 454 with blower. Convert it to RWD. T-88 single turbo setup (for the gtr) with 150 shot. Extremely bad ass super strong tranny. With 6 gears. GTR front and rear bumper, and custom sideskirts. Carbon fiber driveshaft, ford 9" rear with LSD. 17" Racing Hearts for driving around, 15" Enkei's for racing. Totally custom interior with tv's that come out of the ceiling. Sweet ass orange paint job and all body work done. Id basically be making it the worlds sweetest sleeper, capable of running 10s and still be streetable. Then id take the 800,000 or so left and buy a house, and a Porsche 911 Gt2.

Regardless of color, at first glance at a Protege, and most people wont recognize it as any type of performance car. Unless it had a 454 sticking thru the hood. But thats another story, I was thinking the sleeper with the GTR engine.
