    WTB: Reliable car

I'm looking to buy a reliable car; also, I want one that I won't need to put a ton of money into. I'm looking to spend no more than $3000.

Please contact me through e-mail with any information.

You sound like a perfect culprit for a Mazda Protege!

    And welcome to the Club!

      Thank you!

And yeah, a Protege would be ideal...now the trick is finding one...

Being more specific would be a good start.

What generation are you looking for?

Do you have a color preference?

        Manual or automatic?

        Etc.......

            Oh. Yes. That's intelligent.

Well due to my price range it would definitely have to be used. I have no color preferences or anything...I'm flexible as far as that goes.

I would prefer automatic but to be honest if I found a manual that meets my specifications, I would just learn.

I'd really prefer a '95 or later...and the later the better.

It'd need to have a clear title and I would prefer that the owner had maintenance records, but that's not a huge issue, especially if the model has a reputation of being reliable.

Anything else that people need to know?

And yeah, I don't know why I didn't just put this all in the original post...

no more than $3,000 you'd be best with a newer first gen LX. very reliable.

just trying to help...the best way to find one is to watch the for sale thread here and check all the internet sites you can.

              good luck.

Like Eric said, with $3k, you can buy a nice first gen(90-94), or a beat up 2nd or maybe even 3rd gen(I have no idea why anyone would want a 2nd or 3rd gen though )
