lots of people use the engine off of an atx and drop it into their mtx. i have done a swap into a 323 using an eGT atx BP. all you need to do is keep the flywheel off of your existing motor.

dont forget about to alos keep the 3 tranny mount that are in your current car. you will only need the p-side engine mount. You will need to wire in 2 wires, one for the VICS, one for the 4th wire on your disty.

you will need the LX ECU, your car wil "run" with the sohc ecu, but it is better to have the right part for the job.

do you know the displacement of your engine because BPe1 makes no sense.

BP is the code for a 1.8L DOHC engine

                            BP-DE is the 1.8L DOHC
Bp-ZE is the (performance) 1.8L dohc
                            B8-ME is a 1.8L sohc
B6-D(Z)ET is the 1.6L Dohc Turbo

Bp05 is the header for a 1.8L dohc
Bp01 is the header for a 1.8L sohc

the code will go AA## , not AAA#

edwin correct me if i am wrong

Oh I'm talking about the ecu code for a DOHC from a SOHC?
                              I got a BP-DE
own: 91'323 w/ angel eye projectors & 1.8 DOHC all motor
