    MX3 driver's window switch repair

The drivers side button for the pass window would only roll it down, not a big deal I just reached over to roll it up. But then the drivers window did the same thing, no good. Window was stuck in the down position. One screw holds the switch assembly in drivers door remove it and you pry it out. Disconect the wiring harness. Bring it over to where you can drop little parts and still find them. Take out four little screws in the corners of the electronic board. Under both buttons is little black plastic lever that sticks into the electrical part and makes the switches slide back and forth. I hooked the electrical part back up and used something (non conductive) to slide the switches back and forth and both windows went up and down as they should. (of course ignition switch must be on). So the problem was in the plastic button assembly. Both of the little black levers under the buttons were partly broken. A little bit of super glue fixed them and they are working just fine so far.
