My 323 was bought in the summer of 2005. It was completely stock and pretty worn out, but I knew the potential. My 323 was the replacement of my old car a 98 Mazda Protege, which i tinkered with for a few years, doing a BP Swap, even going as far as a custom turbo kit. After awhile I grew tired of the 2nd gens lack of after market support and all around negative performance. During that time I fell in Love with the BP.
When the search was on for a new car, my choices were an FD rx-7, AE86, or BG 323. The choice was clear. Even though many of my friends thought i was insane for buying such an ugly car, they all realize my vision now, especially when they are eating my exhaust fumes.

A few months after the purchase of the car the BP-t swap was done, and everything else just added on from there. In my opinion its a perfect street car, it handles great but wont shake your brain out. Its very quick, yet if need be very good on gas. Inexpensive to fix. Sexy, but above all its unique. Everyday i get someone asking me, "What the hell is that?". I smile and tell a short story of Mazdas WRC attempt in the early 90s. Above all else though I love seeing the look on a guys face when his 30-60k car just got trounced by a early 90s econo-car!

I've decided that my car is a girl, she's picky as hell, won't listen to me, always wants to fight me, and when i give her presents it's never good enough and she always wants more.

I dont plan on painted the front bumper to match, i intentionally did it that color to pay tribute to my BF roots Ofcourse i could change my mind if someone wants to photoshop it for me. I tried but i suck at photoshop

i agree, lots good. i'm just a fan of if you have the whole kit then not to leave out one part. but like i said, still looks good. i'd take it

Also, how did you mount the rear bumper?
