Curiousity + heat stuck on = wtf

SOoooooooooo driving back to the office today i got a nip chilly so i tried to up the cold to be well less cold. Nada. So i got curious since i never tested the heat on this car. Went to max heat. Nada. 30 seconds later or so a bunch of crap blows out of the vents that bugged me out as it start POURING at just about the same exact moment so i turned it back down quick and the crap stopped flying in (pieces of wood or something i dunno) and to my surprise it was still f'in hot! Played with it awhile. Back and forth. Nada. WTF i thought. Cursed at gawd for liking to f*ck with me when i already have a migraine and its a friday so . ANyywhooooos i pull into a park and ride to kill the carrrrrrr errrrrr check the heater thingy in the rain. And next thing i know its cold again. So its like uhhhhhhhh okay. So i set it back to hot for haha's and nada still cold. Seriously ?! Is it all electronic or something in my 95?!

there are little metallic arms underneath that dash that move the controls around when you press the dials. Sometimes those little arms come off the actuators. Check that first.

the 95's are partially vacuum controlled... i dont know exactly what is vaccum controlled, maybe just the a/c or recirc.... mine is working fine with the vac line unhooked.
