alright guys 1st i would like to know if the BP will bolt to the 1.9L trans. If not then what would i specifically have to get to get it so it can... i dont care if the trans it has now will only last for a short period of time just want to get it for a race car at sycamore race way. I have a BP engine that i want to drop into it but since i know nothing about the car i figured i would ask.. any info would be a huge help thanks guys i appreciate it

you could get a trans from any 91-96 EGT, 90-94 protege lx/dx, or 323. bear in mind though that you need to get axles and a clutch/flywheel to match the transmission, not the engine. also keep in mind that the protege DX/323 transmission is significantly weaker than the EGT/PLX setup.Escort GTR -- 11.87 @ 117.6 mph -- 320 HP / 325 Ft.
